Yes, that is what is swirling around the town at the moment. The newest monster phone from HTC that features a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, 16GB of internal storage, a 4.7-inch display, and an 8-megapixel camera might just be bound for a Now Network location near you.
While no comments were coming from both HTC and Sprint, it does fall in line nicely with Sprint’s normal 6-8 month Evo line refresh. With the 3D failing to garner the sales figures that the original 4G did, HTC needs a new flagship to replace the 4G at the top of the Sprint good chain.
The hardware of Sensation XL appears to be available in both an Android and Windows Phone flavor which might bode well for all four carriers getting some serious big screen power after CES in January next year. Hopefully for those Sprint faithful that still clutch to their 4G’s the rumors will be true and next summer they will be enjoying a new 4.7″ monster phone with that Beats Audio system.
